The story
At home in the Achterhoek
The place where you're staying was once a piglet barn. After it had been out of use for a while, I decided in 2020 to turn it into something truly special: a cosy retreat for people who want to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
The farm feeling is everywhere: in the views over the meadows, the birds singing as you enjoy your morning coffee in the garden, the peace that naturally washes over you, and the occasional bit of farm activity that comes with the territory. And then there's Kees, our brown labrador, who will greet you with great enthusiasm. Not a dog person? Kees will stay inside.
I'm Marianne and I love welcoming guests. Not as a landlord, but as a host who genuinely enjoys introducing people to the Achterhoek.
